Passion & Purpose

Welcome to Passion & Purpose
 LifeCrafting and Legacy

LifeCrafting means mindfully envisioning and creating the life you want for the 25-30 “bonus years” of extended middle age and active elderhood and on into less active elderhood - an engaged and fulfilling later life that fully expresses who you are, how you want to contribute, and what legacies you still want to leave.

Book

Legacies of the Heart:
Living a Life That Matters
(2016)

Conscious Aging

Reclaiming the traditional role of wise, respected elders

Presentations

In-person & virtual presentations, workshops, and Legacy Groups

Second-Half LifeCrafting is for

  • Individuals in mid-life and beyond who want to transition mindfully and with support into the “next chapter” of their lives and to create for themselves more purpose, possibility, and legacy -- the imprint, tangible and intangible of their lives.
  • Institutions and organizations that care about their mature alumni, employees, and/or clients and want to help them navigate this challenging and exciting territory.

Meg Newhouse, Ph.D., CPPC, is a nationally-known pioneer in Second-half LifeCrafting, an author, and a seasoned and gifted group facilitator, teacher, coach, and program designer. Currently she is most focused on legacy, the topic of her recent book, Legacies of the Heart: Living a Life That Matters, as well as on the potential of “conscious elders” in addressing our current cultural and political crisis.  She is currently seeking speaking and workshop engagements and only very selectively engaged in coaching and consulting.
